TNT Sports moves to HBO Max on Thursday, meaning a new home for LIV Golf in the UK

After an excellent start to covering LIV Golf, TNT Sports coverage of the global golf league will move from Discovery+ to HBO Max when the streaming service launches in the UK on Thursday.
TNT Sports coverage has been delivered on-site from each event so far including visits to Riyadh, Adelaide, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Africa, with 30-45 minutes build-up to each round along with comments mid-way through and following each round. Their team has been headed by Craig Doyle, and Emma Dodds who stepped in for Craig in South Africa last week, with punditry from 2008 Ryder Cup star and 2014 Alfred Dunhill Links Champion Oliver Wilson, DP World Tour winner Oliver Fisher, and features and analysis from Rachel Drummond.
The first event to be streamed on HBO Max will be LIV Golf Mexico City, played the week following The Masters, 16-19 April.

With an unchanged price of £30.99 per month for TNT Sports as announced last month, the service will offer subscribers a standalone TNT Sports plan or ability to purchase alongside select HBO Max plans. In addition, and announced today, TNT Sports customers can save up to £131.881 through new Saver Plans that will provide access to all of TNT Sports’ exclusively live and non-live content on HBO Max.
HBO Max will replace discovery+ as the streaming home of TNT Sports. Customers currently watching TNT Sports through a discovery+ subscription can sign in at HBOMax.com with their existing email address and password to keep accessing all of TNT Sports’ live and non-live content.

Fans in the UK who wish to sign up to HBO Max’s full entertainment offering and TNT Sports, can take advantage of savings when they select:
Standard with Ads & TNT Sports - saving £8.99 per month or £107.88 per year (12-month minimum term; billed monthly)
Standard & TNT Sports - saving £9.99 per month or £119.88 per year (12-month minimum term; billed monthly)
Premium & TNT Sports - saving £10.99 per month or £131.88 per year (12-month minimum term; billed monthly)

Fans who only wish to purchase TNT Sports, can choose a 12-month subscription via HBO Max, saving £5 per month or £60 a year, when compared to the monthly plan.

What other sports can I stream on HBO Max?
All of TNT Sports’ live and non-live content will be available to stream exclusively on HBO Max from 26 March with the platform replacing discovery+ as the streaming home of TNT Sports.

Alongside TNT Sports, for the first time ever, audiences in the UK and Ireland will be able to stream content from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, DC Studios and Max Originals, all in one place on HBO Max.
At launch, the complete first season of 2025 Emmy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice Award Winning Max Original The Pitt will be available to stream for the first time in the UK and Ireland, with episodes of the latest second season rolling out weekly.
HBO Max will be the home of brand-new HBO Original series, including Lanterns, based on the iconic DC title “Green Lantern” which premieres summer 2026, and the highly anticipated Harry Potter TV series.
Within the first few months, subscribers will also have access to a range of new HBO Original Series including DTF St. Louis, Rooster and the third and final season of The Comeback and HBO Max will be the only place subscribers in the UK and Ireland can catch up on all seasons of the blockbuster HBO Original Euphoria, before the arrival of its highly anticipated third season in April.
In addition, an extensive range of the HBO and Warner Bros. Television libraries - from Succession to Friends, The Sopranos to Game of Thrones and more, will be available in full, exclusively on HBO Max. Subscribers will be able to create up to five personalised profiles, receive tailored recommendations and enjoy features like Continue Watching and, depending on your plan, offline downloads.
