Rory splashes out to 15 feet and he has two putts for glory 2351 BST

Rory's second find the front left bunker, Scottie Scheffler will be very interested in this 2350 BST

Gosh it is a tense finish again 2346 BST

Wow, McIlroy hits a weak slice into the trees up the right of the 18th, and he will have a world of trouble getting it near the green for his second, this is not over 2341 BST

A magnificent chip from Rory, and he will head to 18 with a two stroke lead 2335 BST

McIlroy pushes his wedge approach and wow he has a tough up and down now to remain 2 ahead with 1 hole to play 2333 BST

McIlroy hits a lovely low fade up the 17th hole, it is so close now. He has shown everything this week and if he does win it I think he will view it as one of his greatest wins. He has remained calm when in the past he would have floundered. 2328 BST

What a putt from Rory McIlroy, he saves par with a magnificent two putt which had echoes of Woods chip in 2005, 2 holes to play and he leads by 2 shots. Rose misses a short par putt at 17, and it looks like his race is run. History beckons for Rory. 2323 BST

McIlroy's tee shot at the 16th gets a huge bounce and flies the green, he will face a challenging up and down to save par, just as Sky head for yet another advertisement break 2317 BST

Sam Burns holes a ridiculous putt at 16 from the high right side of the green, meanwhile Scheffler's approach to the 18th rolls back of the front edge 2314 BST

A heart-stopping moment for McIlroy at 15 as his pitch just makes it on to the green, he will have a putt from around 30 feet for birdie, 2 putts will suffice! 2310 BST

Scheffler narrowly misses the birdie putt at 17 and heads to 18, McIlroy pitches out down the left at 15 2307 BST

Scheffler hits a beautiful fade to within 10 feet at 17, and Rory slices his drive at 15 into the trees, a major moment coming up. Seve and Greg Norman both came to grief here in 1986 and 1996 respectively, hopefully the same doesn't happen to Rory. His ball is almost stymied in the trees, a chip out is the only option. 2303 BST

Rose gets up and down from right of 15 to move to within 2 of McIlroy at 11-under 2256 BST

The World Number One hits a low fade up the 17th and he will be aiming to birdie each of the final four holes and emulate Schwartzel from 15 years ago, meanwhile at the 14th Rory two-putts for par to remain at 13-under 2255 BST

Scheffler birdies the 16th and he moves to just two shots back of Rory, he can still win this! 2252 BST

Scottie Scheffler with a quite ridiculous birdie at the fifteenth to move to -10, he never saw the fairway, meanwhile at 13 Rory buries the birdie putt to move three shots clear 2244 BST

McIlroy plays a fine putt from the back of the green but he will have nearly 10 feet for birdie, par doesn't hurt him here though 2242 BST

Rory's second is long of the green but on grass, an up and down for birdie will put him in control, but it is no easy task 2136 BST

A wonderful drive up the right side of thirteen from Rory, now it has to be go time, make a birdie or an eagle and take control again 2229 BST

Justin Rose three-putts the 13th to make par, and McIlroy has a two shot lead with 6 to play 2225 BST

RORY MCILROY BIRDIES THE 12TH TO LEAD BY 2 SHOTS! The Northern Irishman, the defending champion, takes a big step towards victory and heads to the 13th tee. Can he lay the ghosts of last year to rest on this spectacular hole? 2223 BST

And Justin Rose follows suit with a stunning second shot from 197 yards at the 13th and he has a 30 footer for eagle 2218 BST

Rory plays a sublime tee shot on the 12th, under the wind to within 8 feet, and Young follows him, what a final 7 holes we have ahead of us 2216 BST

McIlroy two-putts the 11th to remain 1 shot clear heading to the 12th, meanwhile Scheffler has a putt for birdie at the 13th to move to within 1 shot 2212 BST

Rose chunks a chip shot from behind the 12th green and fails to hole the next. falls to -10, Rory leads alone 2205 BST

Rose fails to get up and down at the 11th and he falls back into a tie with McIlroy, Rory finds the green from over 200 yards out on the 10th hole and Russell Henley moves to -10 with birdie at the 13th 2150 BST

McIlroy misses, remains 1 back heading to the 10th 2141 BST

Rory plays a controlled wedge to within 6 feet of the 9th flagstick and he will have a makeable putt to hold a share of the lead with nine holes to play 2138 BST

Young gets it up and down from the right of the 8th, and Rory also 2-putts to move to -11, both are 1 back of Rose. My word what a final nine holes we are in for! 2138 BST

Tyrrell Hatton with a remarkable run birdies 13, 14, 15 and 16 to move to 10-under-par, two English contenders! 2124 BST

Rory McIlroy hits a slinging hook into the heart of the 8th green and he remarkably has a putt to tie the lead 2123 BST

JUSTIN ROSE TAKES A 2 SHOT LEAD! The Englishman rolls in a birdie putt on the ninth green and he is potentially nine holes from becoming the third English and 8th from the United Kingdom to don the Green Jacket 2120 BST

RORY ROARS BACK! McIlroy birdies the 7th to move 1 back of Rose, meanwhile at the 10th Scheffler has a putt to reach 10-under too 2109 BST

Well then, Cameron Young misses his par putt at the 7th and falls out of the lead, Rose leads by himself. Remarkable stuff. 2108 BST

Meanwhile, Cam Young finds the bunker with his second shot at the 7th, and Rory has a birdie putt, this is all tightening up as we head towards the second nine - ROSE HOLES AND THE ENGLISHMAN TIES THE LEAD AT 11-UNDER! 2104 BST

Justin Rose plays a delightful long pitch at the 8th and he will have a putt for birdie to tie the lead 2103 BST

Cameron Young three-putts the sixth and now he leads by just 1 shot - Young -11 / Rose and Henley -10 / Scheffler and McIlroy -9 2054 BST

He misses and McIlroy is sinking without trace, 3 off the lead through 6 holes and his hopes of successfully defending are disappearing fast 2052 BST

After flying the 6th green off the tee McIlroy's approach putt only just reaches the green, and now he faces a massive moment MUST MAKE 2051 BST

Cameron Young rolls in a 20-footer for par to remain 2 shots clear of McIlroy, Rose and Russell Henley, who are all tied at 10-under-par. Young is the favourite right now, he looks unflappable, but Justin Rose is on the march, as is Henley 2041 BST

Justin Rose with a pearl of a shot at the 7th, from the right trees and has a great chance to move to -10 2036 BST

Rory hasn't played well this season, and his game is clearly not in good shape, he looked unbeatable on Friday but right now I struggle to see a way he wins this tournament. He has been so inconsistent off the tee and it is now costing him. 2030 BST

DISASTER FOR RORY MCILROY - The defending champion makes a staggeringly bad double-bogey at the fourth hole to fall two behind Young, a Major moment. 2024 BST

Rory ties Young at the top!

A sublime up and down from the bunker on the 3rd hole to reach -12 and the leaders are three shots clear of Scheffler and Lowry 2011 BST

Burns falls further behind with a terrible bogey at the 3rd hole and he is now 4 shots off the lead 2002 BST

Cameron Young takes the lead!

Young makes up and down from in front of the right bunker at the 2nd hole to move to 12-under-par, and Rory narrowly misses his birdie putt to fall one back of the American 2000 BST

An absolutely catastrophic double-bogey at the 2nd from Sam Burns and Rory safely extricates himself from the sand to set up an approach from the left side of the hole 1948 BST

Rory finds the bunker on the 2nd off the tee yet again, how many more times will he do this? He makes an easy hole hard almost every time he plays it 1945 BST

Haotong Li birdies the 2nd and 3rd holes to move to -8, and Scheffler rolls in a putt from four feet at the 3rd and the World Number One is 2 off the lead, remember he began yesterday 12 back 1940 BST

Rory leaves his birdie putt woefully short at the first but so does Young and they remain tied with Burns 1938 BST

Sam Burns rolls in a 30-footer at the first and he ties the lead, my word what a start to the round 1929 BST

Justin Rose! The Englishman chips in from the right side of the first to move to -9, 2 shots off the lead and what a start to the final round of the 90th Masters. 1921 BST

Scottie Scheffler birdies the first hole, moves to -8, 3 off the lead.

After pushing his drive on the first Scheffler hit an outrageous slice around the trees and when the ball landed it shot sideways similar to the shot which Tiger hit in Mexico in 2018 from the bunker. The World Number One rolled in the putt with ease, and it is an ominous start by the 2-time champion. 1910 BST

Here we are again, another Masters Sunday, the 30th I have watched in my life, and a special one which marks 15 years living in Scotland. 15 years ago tonight Rory McIlroy's heart was broken by a final round 80, tonight he can become just the fourth man in history to win successive Masters titles after Nicklaus, Faldo and Woods. But with 8 players within four shots of the lead there can be no doubt we are in for a thrilling and unpredictable final round at Augusta. SHANK's Live Final Round Blog will provide updates and commentary on the final round, which will be followed by The Masters Tonight, a roundup of the final day's action. 1854 BST
